IN THE FIRST ITERATION OF CLEAR QUARTZ CREATIVE, I DESIGNED BRANDS & WEBSITES FOR ENTREPRENEURS WITH NICHES LIKE WEDDING FLORISTS, LACTATION CONSULTANTS, AND SOMATIC THERAPISTS.
During this time, two concerns came up on almost all of my sales calls...
1) I’m worried that the site won’t reflect the core of who I am (alignment).
2) I still want to be involved in the process and give my ideas to shape the result (choice and personal power).
I had one answer that solved both of these issues: collaborative work. I called the concept Live Edit Calls, and though I was essentially still delivering a product, working together in real-time with my clients is what set me apart from agencies and my freelance web designer competition.
During the first year of offering this service, I spent most of my call minutes updating and re-writing websites. Then, it evolved to include other practical tasks, holistic and comprehensive conversations, and strategizing sessions to help build clients' personal Business Binders™️, so I rebranded to Action Calls while continuing to work with my wellness and creative clientele.
The way clients responded to these calls showed me that the way I work with clients 1:1 is different…
It’s not quite coaching, because we don’t talk and explore the whole hour.
It’s not quite consulting, because I don’t spend the session planning out a strategy and giving you a long homework list.
It’s not quite virtual assistant work, because you’re building your own skills by watching, experiencing, and asking questions.

Demonstrating is a way for visual learners to see solutions in action rather than just hearing instructions, and it also works well as a confidence boost. Seeing a process or technique in a real-world setting shows you what’s achievable and even better, exactly how to achieve it later yourself.

We’ll meet on Zoom for 60 minutes (though I’ve been known to extend sessions with a bonus 15min because I love what I do!)
Whether you’ve sent your notes ahead of the call or arrive with them in hand, we’ll start by addressing what is most important to you, making it as far through the list as we can while being thorough and attentive to your needs.
I’ll share my screen and actively work with you - logging into whichever tools we’re using, typing into a doc you can see, or showing you examples. Ask me anytime if you’d like our session captured in video and I’ll open up recording.
AFTER
All work product we collaborated on and typed during the call will be sent to you via email, along with any resources, links, or examples we discussed.
A live transcript will have run in the background to capture any magic during our call, so you’ll also have access to this afterwards as a reference.
After our time together, you can decide if you’d prefer to continue working independently or meet regularly. An upgrade to ongoing support in my Conscious Partnership service is a natural next step for many clients, now that you’ve experienced collaboration in action.
